/ 01 —about

Sushil Singh.
The engineer you
actually talk to.

Sushil Singh, founder of maahaa.dev
/ bengaluru · 2026 / principal engineer
/ 02 — premise

Founders ship fast with AI and inherit slow, fragile, unsafe code. I take that code and get it to production.

Ten years of production engineering: fintech scale-ups, distributed systems, early-stage startups where shipping wrong meant shipping broken. That history reads an AI-built codebase fast: what the generator optimised for, which risks matter, what to fix first.

The practice is deliberately lean: coding agents as force multipliers, no project managers, no onboarding cycles. You talk directly to the engineer accountable for the code. Work moves while you sleep; you wake up to a deployed staging link.

/ 03 —career

Ten years of production engineering. Now AI-augmented, principal-led.

/ 2026 → maahaa.dev · principal engineer Principal-led AI-first practice. Production audits, agent builds, sprint MVPs, reliability retainers. Bengaluru, serving global clients.
/ 2023 — 25 Lead engineer · clean energy startup Full-stack ownership across React, Node, and cloud infrastructure. Shipped production AI integrations built for real user load.
/ 2019 — 23 Software architect · fintech startup Overhauled front-end architecture and shipped performant React across trading and dashboard surfaces at scale.
/ 2016 — 19 Full-stack · multiple early-stage startups Shipped under pressure across domains, owning Node, Postgres, queues, and caches end to end. Learned what speed does to a codebase.
/ 04 —philosophy

Cosmic Engineering. Dismantle complexity, surface the essential.

The brand is named for Mahaadev: Lord Shiva, the principle of creative dissolution. For an engineering practice, that translates directly. Dismantle complexity, surface the essential, leave the system better than you found it. The site itself is geometry, type, and atmosphere; no photography, no stock anything.

/ 05 —the mark

Vibhuti. Three rules. One bindu.

Three horizontal monoline rules in the ground colour. One saffron bindu at the centre breaking the symmetry. The rules carry currentColor, so the mark inverts cleanly between dark and light without re-export.

  • Ratio fixed: rules at 36 / 50 / 64; bindu radius 9.
  • Stroke width scales with size — 4 in body, 6 at hero, 8+ at favicon.
  • Composed from primitives. No religious iconography, no third-party glyphs.
  • Off-axis interruption is the bindu, every time. Never decorative.
/ 06 —influences

Mid-century Swiss. Vedic geometric austerity.

Otl Aicher
Munich '72. Pictograms as a system. The grid as ethics.
Massimo Vignelli
A handful of typefaces forever. Subtraction as discipline.
Bauhaus
Form follows function, but with a primary-colour discipline that survives the cliché.
Sri Yantra
Geometry as cosmology. The bindu is the only point that matters.
Vibhuti
Three horizontal rules. The simplest possible mark with a centre.
Vedic instruments
Tools of measurement before tools of measurement were a category.
